João Eduardo FerreiraJoão Eduardo Ferreira obtained his master and
PhD degree
in Computational Physics at the Institute
of Physics, USP –
"Universidade de São Paulo" at São
Carlos, Brazil. He has been researching in the very large database modeling and
integration since 1996. His research interests also include process algebra,
Petri nets, business process management, scientific workflows, data warehouse
environment and Bioinformatics database system. Currently, he is a faculty
