Research activities:

• My research area is Operator Theory, more specifically C*-algebras.
  • Ph.D. Dissertation: Weakly Stable Relations and Inductive Limits of C*-Algebras
  • Advisor: Professor Terry Loring ( Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of New Mexico).

Teaching activities:

• This semester, I am teaching MAT2453 (Single Variable Calculus), for a class of engineering students of the Escola Politécnica da USP.

Other activities:

• I am a member of the board of CAEM, a center at IME-USP devoted to the development of activities aiming the improvement of teaching/learning mathematics, from early levels to pre-university. CAEM offers to the public in general (usually math. teachers) several kinds of courses, workshops, and talks.
