I obtained my PhD in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) in 2013, my MSc in Computing from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in 2008 and a BSc in Technology in Software Development from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) in 2006.

I have made significant contributions to different Brazilian universities as a professor, including the University of Brasília (UnB), the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) and the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). I am the author of more than 70 peer-reviewed scientific articles, with my main research interests related to free/open-source software, agile methodologies and experimental software engineering.

I actively participate in academic communities, contributing to conferences and serving as a reviewer for scientific journals. Beyond academia, I am deeply involved in the free/open-source software community, where I mentor students and contribute to community projects, underlining my commitment to promoting the values and practices inherent in the free/open-source software ecosystem.
