    SIPEMAT (Brazil)

Dear colleague

We would like to invite you to participate of the International Research
Symposium in Mathematics Education - SIPEMAT, 10th -14th July 2006, in
Recife, at Federal University of Pernambuco. Recife is a city located just
one hour flight from ICOTS venue, and this Symposium would be good
opportunity for meaningful debate in Mathematics Education.

SIPEMAT is an event organized by and for researchers and research students
from several levels and areas related to mathematics education (e.g. master
and doctoral students).

The Post-Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of
Pernambuco proposes the symposium, whose theme is:

"Research in Mathematics Education: An amplified view of the classroom."
