Harvard Biostatistics, Postdoctoral Research Position

Opening for a postdoctoral researcher in the area of environmental
statistics.  The position is in the Department of Biostatistics at
Harvard School of Public Health and involves methodological and
applied work on latent variable and hierarchical modeling. Projects
focus on Bayesian spatio-temporal hierarchial modeling of exposure to
air pollution and latent variable modeling of biomarkers of environmental
exposures. The work will involve extensive interaction with scientific
collaborators in environmental health.  Opportunity also exists for
applying for funding through the Harvard University Center for the
Environment for a related project on integrating remote sensing,
numerical model output, and ground measurements of air pollution via
Bayesian spatio-temporal modeling. Qualifications are a PhD in statistics
or biostatistics with experience in latent variable, spatio-temporal,
or Bayesian modeling and programming experience in R, Matlab, or C.
The position is jointly supervised by Drs. Brent Coull, Chris
Paciorek, and Louise Ryan.  There is a possibility to fill the opening
for the spring semester, and applications will be considered as they
arrive.

Informal questions can be sent to Chris Paciorek (paciorek@hsph.harvard.edu)
To apply, send cover letter describing your research interests and interest in the position,
