Dear Members of IASE, ICOTS7 participants, and Country Correspondents

With this email I am attempting to reach as many people as possible
who have interests in statistics and statistics education. The First
Notice for ICOTS8 in Slovenia in July 2010 has just been released and
can be viewed at

If you want A3 size copy for noticeboards simply replace A4 by A3 in
the above link. I hope you will distribute this information to
friends, colleagues and statistics networks in your own countries. 

More detail of the Scientific Programme can be viewed on the ICOTS8
website http://icots8.org

You will notice on the website that the six keynote speakers have
been confirmed and that there are 76 Invited Paper Sessions covering
all aspects and levels of statistics education. If you are interested
in making contributions in any of the Invited Paper Sessions you could
make a preliminary approach to the Session Organiser who is listed on
the website. If the Session already has invited speakers arranged,
your interest will be noted either for another Invited Paper session
or for a Contributed Paper session. It is intended to have invited
speakers finalised by January 2009. 

I apologise if you have already received an email about ICOTS8. This
should have only occurred for those of you who are on the organising
committees.
