Conference announcement: BISP7
Getafe (Madrid) Sept 1st-3rd 2011

Dear all:

This is just to announce the 7th workshop in Bayesian Inference for Stochastic
Processes (BISP7) which will take place in Getafe, Madrid, Spain between the
1st and 3rd of September of 2011. The conference web page is

http://www.est.uc3m.es/bisp7/

In this workshop, we will bring together experts in the field to review,
discuss and explore directions of development of Bayesian Inference in
Stochastic Processes and in the use of Stochastic Processes for Bayesian
Inference. Theoretical and applied contributions to any area of Bayesian
inference for stochastic process will be welcome. The workshop will be held in
an informal environment to encourage discussion and promote further research
in these fields. The workshop will be located in the Universidad Carlos III de
Madrid, in the Getafe campus, less than a 20 minute train journey from the
centre of Madrid.

People interested in contributing papers should send a title and abstract by
e-mail to the head of the local organizing committee, Michael Wiper on
michael.wiper<mailto:michael.wiper@uc3m.es>@uc3m.es before February 25th 2011.

With thanks,

Michael P Wiper

The Valencia Mailing List contains about 2,000 entries of people interested in
Bayesian Statistics.
It was set to send information about the Valencia International Meetings on
Bayesian Statistics,
and other material of interest to the Bayesian community.

Valencia 9, held in June 2010, was the last Valencia Meeting. The list will
remain operative until
the corresponding Proceedings "Bayesian Statistics 9", to be published by
Oxford University Press,
are finalized. The list will then be merged with the list operated by ISBA,
the International Society for Bayesian Analysis.

In the meantime, you may still send relevant information to the list by
sending a text only message to
valencialist@listserv.uv.es. This will then be sent to Jose M. Bernardo for
approval, and then distributed to the list.

If you receive this message, then you are on the Valencia List.
