The Pioneer Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statistics is an academic peer-reviewed international journal devoted to publish high-quality original pioneering research papers and critical survey/expository articles of both applied and theoretical statistics. The topics covered all branches of statistical sciences and their applications in medical, agricultural, econometric, physical or social sciences and industry, commerce and government and other scientific disciplines. The journal focuses on traditional areas such as probability, probability for finance, econometrics probability inequalities, statistics, operations research, biostatistics, bioinformatics, multivariate statistical analysis, sampling theory, re-sampling methods, time series, nonparametric statistics, regression and variance analysis, nonparametric regression, quantile regression, design of experiments, foundations of statistical inference, statistical decision theory, testing hypotheses, parameter estimation, sequential procedures, time series and statistical problems for stochastic processes, and statistical data analysis, clinical trials, linear models, optimal design of experiments, multivariate analysis, robust statistics, distributions and distribution theory, regression analysis, EM and related algorithms, empirical likelihood method, EV-models, semi-parametric regression models, change point analysis, the limit distribution, half-non-parametric statistics, limit theory, martingale theory and semimartingale theory, distribution theory, large sample stochastic differential equations and applications, stochastic analysis, probability theory. reliability theory and life-testing, applied probability and statistics, stochastic orders and statistical dependence, ordered random variables mathematical finance, risk management and insurance, simultaneous inference, biostatistics. non-linear models, regression analysis, sequential analysis, multivariate statistical analysis, machine learning, Lipschitz classifiers, pattern recognition, change point analysis, robust statistics, cure or long-term survival models (including survival models), generalized linear models, asymptotic theory, u- and v-statistics, laws of large numbers and weak convergence statistical inference (Bayesian & non-Bayesian, life testing (estimation, prediction...), reliability, stress-strength model, goodness of fit tests, statistical inference, simulation study, pre-test and shrinkage estimation, distribution theory, bootstrapping etc., and also gives special emphasis to established as well as emerging applied areas or any other of the main fields of endeavor, where statistics is used in nontrivial ways. The target audience comprises: statisticians, mathematicians and biologists.

The honorable Editorial Members

and the Publisher are very committed to build the journal as one of leading international journals in the field of theoretical and applied statistics in the next few years. Besides the basic aim of publishing high quality peer-reviewed research articles, sufficient care is given to the timely disposal of the articles received for publication. Generally, we make decision on an article received in two months time and publish the same if duly recommended by the experts within next two months of acceptance.

The PJTAS is to be published in two volumes annually each having two issues appearing in January, April, July and October.

Submissions: Submissions are being accepted for the current and future issues of this journal. Prospective authors may submit manuscript by the following way:

E-mail: As .pdf, or .doc file attachments via e-mail to:

pioneer@pscilink.com or pjtas@pscilink.com

Online Submission: Please go to Online Submission Page of our website:

The benefits of publishing in Pioneer Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statistics include:

1. A stringent, fast and constructive double blind peer-reviewing process.

2. Excellent editorial standards.

3. Fast publication times.

4. Abstracts of published papers are available free to view.

5. Published research works will be available for researchers all around the world philanthropically on demand.

Reviewing/Indexing: Papers appearing in PJTAS will be reviewed/indexed in Mathematical Reviews, MathSciNet and Zentralblatt fÃr Mathematik databases.

Editorial Policy: PSP follows double blind peer-reviewing process. As soon as a manuscript is submitted for possible publication in the PJTAS, it is put before the screening committee of publication which makes a decision on the paper within two days. If the paper is primarily Okayed by the screening committee, then it is sent to a member of editorial board/referee for reviewing. We receive the report approximately in one month and if the paper is recommended for publication, it is accommodated in a forthcoming issue of the journal.

Print Charges and Reprints: Being in initial stage and privately funded organization having no external funding. We highly depend on page charges and sale of additional reprints for operating and circulating journals, a small part of the publication cost, to maintain timely publication and circulation, authors of accepted papers are requested to arrange print charges at the rate of EURO 22 or US$ 30 per page from their institutions/research grants, or any other sources. The proforma invoice will be sent along with the galley proofs. Twenty five reprints of a paper will be provided to the authors ex-gratis. Additional sets of reprints can also be ordered during the proof correction. Articles are accepted for publication solely on the basis of merit.

You may please promote this journal âPioneer Journal of Theoretical and Applied Statisticsâ among your coauthors and colleagues also to consider our publication as the outlet for their significance research work.
