Resumo
Birnbaum-Saunders models have been widely studied and applied during
recent decades. Although this type of models has its origin in
engineering, its applicability has reached also other areas such as
earth and medical sciences and business. In this mini-course, we
discuss new developments on these models, their implementation in the
R statistical software and their applicability in diverse areas of the
science.
