A simple tool to study Lagrangian systems
A simple result produces nonlocal constants of motion for Lagrangian ODEs. The aim of the talk is to introduce this concept and show some applications starting from a nonstandard separation of variables for the Poincar ́e’s half-plane.
The prerequisites are only Euler-Lagrange equations as in elementary physics books and the concept of first integral.
