Isoperimetric inequalities and their applications to spectral problems in physics
Isoperimetric inequalities have a large history in geometry and physics. In this colloquium I will give a general panorama about applications of isoperimetric inequalities in physics and, in particular on isoperimetric inequalities that involve the eigenvalues of the Laplacian, of the Schrödinger operator and other linear operators used in Physics.
