The event precedes the XXI Brazilian Logic Conference that occurs between May 12 and 16
Between May 9 and 11, 2025, the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo (IME-USP) will host the Logic School, a training event that foregoes the XXI Brazilian Logic Conference (EBL). Aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, as well as researchers interested in the field, the Logic School offers a unique opportunity for learning and academic interaction.
Following that, from May 12 to 16, the XXI Brazilian Logic Conference, the Brazilian Society of Logic (SBL)’s main event, will take place in Serra Negra, São Paulo. This event, held since 1979, is one of the most important gatherings for researchers and experts in Logic, covering various areas such as Mathematics, Philosophy of Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Linguistics, and Artificial Intelligence.
The call for papers for the XXI EBL is open and encourages the submission of lectures, posters, and proposals for round tables or small workshops. The topics addressed include, but are not limited to, algebraic logic, classical and non-classical logic, computability theory, foundations of mathematics and computer science, set theory, philosophy of logic, and artificial intelligence.
