The event will take place at IME-USP on April 10th and 11th, with the participation of several researchers from prestigious universities in Brazil and France.
On April 10th and 11th, the event has a full program starting at 9:30 a.m., including visits to research centers such as INOVA, the HPC Center, and the CCSL (Competence Center in Free Software) at USP. The meetings, which will be held in English, are aimed at researchers in the field, but registrations are also accepted from other interested parties, not necessarily with an institutional affiliation.
Promoted by the partnership between INRIA (Institut National de Recherche en Sciences et Technologies du Numérique), the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of USP, and AUCANI (USP Agency for National and International Academic Cooperation), the purpose of the meeting is to present the possibilities of institutional engagement between the French institute and research institutions in São Paulo, in addition to promoting well-established projects to improve the research area and showcasing other successful initiatives.
The beginning of the workshop, on the 10th, will take place in the Jacy Monteiro Auditorium (IME -USP). From 14:15, simultaneous lectures will be held in the Jacy Monteiro and Antonio Giglioli Auditoriums (IME-USP), so it is worth checking the schedule to choose the topic you are interested in. At 16:00, visits to the research centers will begin and will continue until the closing cocktail party at about 19:30. On the second day, all activities will take place in the Jacy Monteiro Auditorium from 9:30 to 12:00.
The event is free and registration is due by April 3. The registration form is available on the workshop website, where you can also find details of the schedule.
