Post-Doctoral Program
The Post-Doctoral Program is developed under the responsibility of a PhD professor accredited as a supervisor of the IME-USP Graduate Program, according to the regulations of the University of São Paulo. Post-doctoral researchers are expected to participate in research in the Departments of Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. The results of the studies are presented in seminars, congresses, books and mainly in scientific journals.
The candidate to the Program must hold a PhD degree from any institution, national or foreign, and the registration must be requested by the advisor to the Research Committee. According to the type of project, specific documentation must be presented (with research fellowship; without research fellowship; linked to a company).

The participation as PostDoc does not create an employment or functional relationship between the parties, therefore without any extension of rights and advantages granted to public servants.
As a PostDoc, the researcher is entitled to the USP Card (which enables the use of university restaurants, libraries and CEPE), and BUSP.
Researcher Collaborator
The Researcher Collaborator Program of the University of São Paulo aims to offer the opportunity for external researchers, linked or not to another institution, to collaborate in research projects at USP. The candidate to the program must hold a PhD degree from any institution, national or foreign.
