Hodge theory and Soergel bimodules.
Abstract: I will discuss hard Lefschetz and the Hodge-Riemann bilinear relations, which are deep theorems about the cohomology of smooth projective varieties. I will then discuss work with Ben Elias proving these properties algebraically for Soergel bimodules in the local and global settings. If time permits I will discuss connections to the Jantzen filtration.
