QualiPSo

The integrated QualiPSo (Quality Platform for Open Source) project aims to define and implement technologies, procedures, laws and policies in order to boost free software development practices, making them reliable, recognized and established in the industry. In order to make the project viable and to sustain free software as a reliable solution for industry, a consortium has been created made up of industry, academia and government.

The project has collaborators from different backgrounds: France, Italy, Brazil, Spain, China, Germany and Scotland. QualiPSo's approach is open in the sense that: (a) it uses open standards and open source software development; (b) it is based on an open community, made up of scientists, researchers, professionals and users, to evolve its resources; and (c) it is open to expansion through the insertion of new application scenarios and project results.
