This directory is the top-level directory for the materials available in
conjunction with the text "The Art and Science of C" (Addison-Wesley,
1995). The interesting files are contained in the following
subdirectories:

cslib This subdirectory contains the sources for the libraries
            used with the text.

documents This subdirectory contains documentation for the libraries
and the SIGCSE-93 paper defending the approach.

progams This subdirectory contains all the sample programs used in
the text. If you want solutions to the exercises, please
            contact your Addison-Wesley representative.

shar This directory contains .shar files that reconstruct an
entire directory tree when they are executed by the shell
on a Unix system. The purpose of this directory is to
make it possible to transfer an entire file hierarchy
            with a single command.
