The School of Economics at the University of New South Wales is seeking
to make one or more appointments at the level of Lecturer (Assistant
Professor), Senior Lecturer and/or Associate Professor subject to
budgetary approval. Applicants must have a PhD completed or near
completion and must be able to demonstrate strong research abilities and
a commitment to teaching. Applicants for lecturer positions should show
promise of becoming excellent teachers and internationally recognised
scholars. Senior appointments should have a demonstrated commitment to
excellence in research, teaching and supervision, as well as strong
evidence of academic leadership.
Successful applicants will be expected to teach in the undergraduate and
postgraduate programs, to supervise postgraduate research, and to
develop an independent research program that achieves international
recognition. Applicants with expertise in any area of economics,
econometrics or business statistics will be considered.
