Senior Research Assistant part time (0.5fte)

Salary: £27,183 - £33,432 pro rata
Applications are invited for this post to work on a new research project on Standard Error Estimation for Measures of Population Change over Time from Repeated Surveys funded by the ESRC. The overall aim of this project is to investigate new approaches to estimating standard errors for estimates of changes, and to evaluate and compare these approaches via theory, simulation and empirical comparison.
This is a part-time (0.5fte) post of 18 months duration. The preferred starting month is February/March 2009. Some flexibility in the appointment is possible.
The closing date is 15th January 2009 at 12 noon. Interviews are likely to take place at the end of January 2009.
