O ISI acaba de renovar sua página na internet. Os detalhes de acesso seguem abaixo.

 

O Brasil tem presença ainda modesta nos quadros do ISI e acho importante promover a afiliação de mais brasileiros. Convido os colegas a considerarem apresentação de candidatura para afiliação ao ISI, lembrando que candidaturas para membro do ISI são voltadas a pessoas já com carreiras estabelecidas. Para aqueles em início de carreira, podem pensar em afiliar-se a uma das seções onde para ser membro não há processo de eleição. As instruções completas de como tornar-se membro pode ser encontradas em: http://isi-web.org/membership/how-to-apply-for-isi-elected-membership

 

O processo foi bastante simplificado e os benefícios de tornar-se membro são descritos na página do ISI.

Dear ISI and Section members,

 

It is a great pleasure to inform you that the new ISI website has been launched today. You are kindly invited to visit this new website at isi-web.org.

 

From now on news items will be published directly on the home page of our website. These news items will replace the ISI Newsletter that will no longer be produced.

 

You will receive regular e-mails from the ISI informing you about the latest items published on the homepage. Related background articles will be published elsewhere on the site as well as on the Sections’ websites and will be accessible via accompanying links.

 

In addition to the information that was available via the old site, the new website contains some new features. For example, for elected ISI members there is a ‘Members only’ section containing information relevant to ISI members such as ongoing discussions. Elected members will soon receive a separate e-mail with login details from the ISI Permanent Office.

 

In the coming months we will continue to work on the new website in order to fine tune it and add new features.
