Designed Experiments: Recent Advances in Methods and Applications
DEMA2011
30 August - 2 September 2011
Isaac Newton Institute
Cambridge, UK
http://www.newton.ac.uk/programmes/DAE/daew04.html

DEMA 2011 will bring together researchers and practitioners for the interchange of new ideas on the design and analysis of experiments. The workshop will emphasise both methodology and application areas and should be of interest to scientists and engineers who use experiments, as well as to statisticians.

Scientific Programme
The scientific programme currently includes invited presentations from over
20 leading researchers from around the world. Abstracts for contributed
talks and posters are encouraged, particularly from early career researchers
and PhD students. Abstracts should be submitted online with the conference
registration form
http://www.newton.ac.uk/cgi/wsapply?CODE=DAEW04

Early Career Scholarships
A limited number of scholarships is available to provide a modest
contribution to conference expenses for early career researchers (PhD
students and researchers within 5 years of obtaining a PhD) who contribute a
poster or talk. These will be awarded on the basis of a submitted abstract
and a curriculum vitae. Other funding for early career researchers based in
the UK may be available from the Newton Institute's Junior Member scheme.

Venue
The conference will be held at the Isaac Newton Institute in Cambridge, a
national and international visitor research institute for the mathematical
sciences. Cambridge is a historic University town, only 50 minutes from
London. Accommodation is available in Wolfson Court, just next to the Institute.
