Um Ótimo Exemplo de Priori

Notei que no debate em pauta a questão da dificuldade de se encontrar uma
priori foi leventada.

Conheço um ótimo exemplo:

"An appropriate method for high-level Bayesian image analysis is the use
of deformable templates. We assume that we are dealing with applications
where we have prior knowledge on the composition of the scene and we can
formulate parsimonious geometric descriptions for objects in the images.
For example, in medical imaging we can expect to know a priori the main
subject of the image, e. g. a hart or a brain." (Dryden and Mardia,
Statistical Shape Analysis, p. 253)

Neste caso, a priori é bem justificada!
