Dear Paulo,
You may be interested to learn that Universidade de São Paulo (USP)
features in the world's elite (Top 200) institutions in 29 of the 30
subjects featured in this year's QS World University Rankings by
Subject, which will be published on 8th May 2013 on www.topuniversities.com. Media partners such as
The Guardian and Chosun Ilbo will feature the rankings
which will also be covered by other leading media around the
world.
For the third edition of the QS World University Rankings by
Subject, we evaluated 2,858 universities and ranked 678
institutions in total. 68 million citations were analyzed and we
verified the provision of 8,391 programs.
Of particular note, the ranking for Universidade de São Paulo (USP)
has improved in the following subjects:
- Modern Languages
- Philosophy
- Engineering - Mechanical
- Agriculture & Forestry
- Biological Sciences
- Medicine
- Pharmacy & Pharmacology
- Physics & Astronomy
