ARRIVAL INFORMATION
I. For those going to the hotel on Saturday night in São Paulo city
In the International Airport:
Go to EMTU office - located outside, by the street,
near the exit.
It offers a frequent confortable bus line that goes to the
hotel area in the (new) city center.
Get the bus with destination Guarulhos/Paulista/Augusta.
The bus frequency is about one each 30 minutes leaving the airport.
It costs R$ 12,00 and takes about 45 minutes to reach the
San Gabriel Palace Hotel - Rua Frei Caneca, 1006. Phone (011) 3253-2279

II. Meeting points for the bus (August 4th)

Campinas (departing at 1pm)
Itinerary: IMECC-USP-Ubatuba
IMECC (Rua Sergio Buarque de Holanda, 651), UNICAMP.
São Paulo (departing at 2pm)
Itinerary: USP-San Gabriel Palace Hotel-EMTU office (International Airport)-Ubatuba
1 - USP - Cidade Universitária - Portão 1 (departing at 2pm)
2 - San Gabriel Palace Hotel (departing at 2:30pm)

The bus will pick up participants waiting right in front of
the EMTU office - located near the exit of the airport.
If you arrive too early
sunday morning, you might prefer to go to San Gabriel Palace Hotel, instead
of waiting in the airport. See instructions in the top of this page.
III. If you are not taking the school bus
Regular bus line São Paulo/Ubatuba from the Tietê Bus Terminal
(Terminal Rodoviário Tietê) in São Paulo:
The bus company is called Litorânea and can reached at 0800.999701.
It is located at the windows 463-464 of the bus terminal.
The trip takes about 4 hours. Buses depart
at 07h00, 10h00, 13h00, 16h00, 18h30 and 21h00 everyday.
There are direct buses from the Guarulhos and Congonhas airports
to the Tietê Bus Terminal. From the center of São Paulo, you can
also take the blue subway (metrô) line to the Tietê station.
